Terms of Use | ODDSEY

By using ODDSEY, you agree to these Terms of Use. These Terms apply to the ODDSEY website, game, challenges, leaderboards, promotions, giveaways and future prize competitions.

The game

ODDSEY is a free social probability game. Scores are calculated server-side. Attempting to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or competition results may result in disqualification.

No gambling or wagering

ODDSEY is intended to be a game of skill and knowledge. It does not offer betting, wagering, paid prediction or gambling. Probability and lottery statistics may appear only as educational comparisons. Any future promotion involving prizes will be governed by separate published promotion terms.

Giveaways, promotions & prizes

The ODDSEY Launch Challenge is the first ODDSEY prize promotion. It is a skill-based competition (not a game of chance or random prize draw) governed by the detailed terms below. Future prizes, giveaways, competitions or promotions will be announced separately with their own published terms.

1. Promoter

The promoter of the ODDSEY Launch Challenge is ODDSEY (ABN 72 720 452 116), G02, 22 St Kilda Rd, St Kilda VIC 3182, Australia. You can contact the promoter at hello@oddsey.com.au.

2. Eligibility & residency

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Directors, officers, employees and contractors of the promoter, and the immediate family members of any of them, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means spouse, de facto partner, parents, siblings and children. Entrants must not be otherwise excluded by law from participating in a skill-based promotion in their state or territory of residence.

3. How to enter

Entry is free and available only via the ODDSEY website at the competition entry page. To enter, a person must: (a) follow the ODDSEY Instagram account @playoddsey; (b) complete the ODDSEY competition entry form (providing their name and a valid email address); and (c) complete the qualifying ODDSEY competition challenge during the promotion period. The Instagram follow is a condition of entry and does not constitute an endorsement by Instagram. One competition entry is recorded per player session. A player may repeat the qualifying challenge to improve their result; only their highest qualifying score is retained.

4. Entry limits & invalid entries

Each eligible person may hold one competition entry. Creating multiple accounts or sessions to gain additional entries is not permitted and may result in disqualification. Entries that are flagged for cheating, manipulation, automated play, or that otherwise fail the eligibility requirements set out in these Terms are not qualifying entries. The promoter may disqualify any entrant who, in its reasonable opinion, breaches these Terms or acts in a manner that compromises the integrity of the competition.

5. Promotion period

The promotion opens at 12:00am AEST on 4 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 30 September 2026 (Melbourne time). Entries received outside the promotion period are not valid. The promoter may extend or modify the promotion period by publishing an updated notice on the ODDSEY website.

6. Winner determination

The winner is the eligible entrant with the highest qualifying ODDSEY score recorded during the promotion period. If two or more eligible entrants record the same highest score, the tie is broken by the fastest qualifying completion time. The competition is a game of skill judged on score and speed, and is not a random prize draw. The promoter's determination of the winner is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Winner notification

The winner will be notified by email at the email address provided on their competition entry within 3 business days of the competition closing. The winner's name and state may be published on the ODDSEY website and ODDSEY social channels following verification.

8. If the winner cannot be contacted

If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not respond to the notification email within 7 days, or does not provide the information reasonably required to verify their eligibility and identity, the prize will be awarded to the next highest-scoring eligible entrant, and the original determination will lapse. This process may be repeated until an eligible winner is confirmed.

9. The prize

The prize is one $500 JB Hi-Fi Gift Card. The prize is supplied by ODDSEY. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If the prize (or any part of it) is unavailable, the promoter may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value. JB Hi-Fi is not the promoter of this competition and is not affiliated with, supporting or endorsing ODDSEY or this promotion.

10. Prize delivery

The prize will be delivered to the verified winner within 14 days of winner confirmation. The gift card will be provided electronically to the winner's verified email address, or by another method agreed with the winner. The promoter is not responsible for delivery delays outside its reasonable control.

11. Privacy & use of information

Personal information collected for a competition entry is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Terms. Entrant information is used to administer the promotion, verify the winner and deliver the prize. The winner's name and state may be published as set out above. Any other use of entrant information will be disclosed at the point of collection.

12. Instagram & third-party disclaimer

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or JB Hi-Fi. Entrants release the promoter, Instagram and JB Hi-Fi from any liability in connection with the promotion to the extent permitted by law. Entrants are responsible for their own use of Instagram and compliance with Instagram's terms of use.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any entrant in connection with entering the promotion, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law (including any liability under the Australian Consumer Law). The promoter is not responsible for any technical failure, internet outage or other circumstance that prevents or disrupts entry or play.

Sponsorship enquiries

Submitting a sponsorship enquiry is an expression of interest only. It does not create a binding agreement, obligation to provide a prize, or commitment to launch a promotion. Any partnership will be formalised in a separate written agreement.

Promotion information & privacy

Personal information collected for a competition entry, giveaway or promotion will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable promotion terms. Any use of entrant information beyond administering a promotion will be disclosed at the point of collection.
